This newsgroup was intended for Windows Mail users.

You appear to be using Windows Live Mail instead, and the newsgroup for
discussing it is:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

However, is myersinternet.com your internet provider? If not, you're
unlikely
to be able to make a connection to port 25 that goes outside your internet
provider. Ask them if their outgoing mail server allows you to send
outgoing
mail through some other port instead, and if so, where to find their
instructions
for switching to the other port. Just trying all the ports is a very slow
way to
find out, since there are about 65,000 ports available and it's unlikely
that
more than a few of them will accept outgoing mail.

I already responded to your post in the WLM newsgroup.
Please do not post the same issue to multiple newsgroups.

This was answered in another newsgroup.

If you must post identical messages in more than one newsgroup please
crosspost, i.e. please place all of the newsgroups in the Newsgroup field of
one message, separated by commas. That way when someone reads the message
in one newsgroup it will be marked as read in all of them. In addition, an
answer posted in one newsgroup will generally show up in all of them.

This is usually not necessary since most of those who answer posts read
more than one newsgroup.
