Sending emails through MSN via Outlook 2003

Hi

I have been using Outlook 2003 for some time now without any errors (until
now anyway). Outlook 2003 synchronises my MSN inbox into itself no problems,
very impressed with that. However when I try to send an email and click
"send and receive", I get an error accusing me of being spam. Nothing will
send (nor can I read previously read emails) until I log into hotmail via IE
and copy in the box those goofy numbers/letters to prove I am not a machine.
A few seconds later my outlook seems to reset itself, my emails are sent and
I can view the emails in my inbox again. I have had to do this 5 times so
far today, and am finding it very frustrating.

The error message I get when sending is
"Task 'MSN - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC33) : 'Access to the account
was denied. Verify that your username and password are correct. The server
responded 'Forbidden'. '"

I am getting it everytime I send an email; my password IS correct.

Please help!

Access to free Hotmail accounts has been disabled, just like the message
says.

Thanks for the response Brian, and I had seen other posts relating to such -
but if so then I don't understand why:

a) i can still receive emails in outlook (it is only when I send that I have
an issue)

b) why when I reset by logging into msn does the email I have tried to send
gets sent.

If the answer to that is just because it does, fair enough - it just seems a
little weird that it allows me to do somethings, just not everything.

Thanks in advance

My understanding is that in the very near future, all access to free Hotmail
accounts by OE and OL will cease to function.
