Double check your account settings to make sure that you
have the right "Outgoing Mailserver" server information.
This information must be exact! If you go into your email
account settings there is a button called "Test Account
Settings". Press this button to verify that you have the
right settings. This feature will test your outgoing
mailserver settings to verify that you have a valid
connection to a server. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem and also use Verizon. I can
recieve but not send with my email accounts from my web
domains. When I test in the properties it goes through
okay but when I try to send a real message to anyone even
my work address I get this error message:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 3/31/2004 8:32 PM
553 sorry, that domain isn't allowed to be
relayed thru this MTA (#5.7.1)

Any help would by most appreciated it's very frustrating
and using my website's webmail is a pain. TIA

You need to set your account to authenticate to your outgoing server. Click
"More Settings...", then go to the "Outgoing Server" tab.
