When I send a Word Perfect document on email, recipients
cannot read it. Which Word version do I use so that my
attachment can read?

Some versions of Microsoft Word can open WordPerfect files directly
but you must first save the Word Perfect document email attachment to
another location on your drive.

1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. From the File Menu, choose Open.
3. In the File Type box, choose All Files.
4. Browse to find your file and click Open.

I don't use WP, but I'd think it has the option to "Save As" a Word
document. Which version depends on what version of Word is installed on the
target machine, saving for Word version 6 should be mostly universal, since
it came out with Office97 (I think). Backwards compatability exists, but of
course forward compatability does not (the new format hadn't been invented
yet). You could also save the document as a Rich Text Format (.rtf type) and
that would even be readable in Wordpad, and of course with Winword too,
although some Word formatting might be lost (check for format problems
before sending it).
