sending a font

How do I send a font on my computer to someone else? I've tried going to
c:/windows/fonts and clicking on the one I want - but it won't attach, it
just shows what the font looks like in a window

You tried a right-click|DRAG of the font file to the attachment window?
 
ok, I had to end up opening explorer and right clicking and dragging to my
new email in OE - thanks
