Sending a FAX

Hi,

Id like to send a fax to someone, what do I need?
I have XP pro SP1,windows fax console is installed, a scanner (HP3500c), a
printer (HP720c).
Can I just scan a document and send it to the fax number provided to me or
do I need a specific fax/printer thing.

All you need now is a modem. You can easily test it by printing a document
and choosing the modem instead of the printer. I don't know if the windows
fax console works this way but usually all other fax programs do.
