Greetings. I have the following problem when sending a web page from
Outlook 2000.

I have created a web page using MS Word. I have used a lot of text
boxes and in some text boxes I have inserted hyperlinks. I then
published the web page to a web server, and when I browse the page, the
hyperlinks worked as expected.

However, when I send the page out using Outlook (I opened the web page
inside Outlook and then use the command "Action-Send Web Page by
Email", the text boxes becomes some kind of picture, and the hyperlink
does not work anymore (because all the text inside the text box becomes
one big image).

I used the text boxes because I need to do a lot of formatting. Could
some one please give me suggestions on how to make the hyperlinks work?

Many Thanks & Regards,
Patrick

Patrick,

You can try to email your web page with www.jkn.com (JumpKnowledge)
which was designed to email web pages.

www.jkn.com is compatible with all web browsers and email accounts
(including web-based email accounts), and is even able to email
framesets properly.

Let me know how it works out.

use tables, not text boxes, for controlling the layout. if you have front
page or another web editor, use it to create the page instead.

Thanks, Jack. But I am a bit weary of giving out email addresses to
these commercial site. So, I don't think I will try this one for now.

Hi Diane,

The tables did not seem to work either. I used MS Word because it is so
easy to make a good looking web page. I can't seem to do all the
graphics and formatting in FrontPage (but then, I am also quite amature
in FrontPage). At least you have confirmed for me that the hyperlinks
cannot function in the text boxes. I will have to look for other ways.

Thanks,
Patrick

None of the sites open!
