How can I configure vista to make the "send to" context menu use Windows
mail instead of
outlook? Currently, choosing the send to option, it tells me to set up a
profile. I don't use Outlook
though.

Ok I'm lost, I buy alot from craigslist and I'm trying to send and receive
mail from the sellers. This is my first computer at home ,because normally
I'm at work or at a friends buying online......anyhoo, please help me
figurer out how to send mail and receive with my name and or email for
messages to be sent or come back.

Please some body respond back!!!

You should be able to accomplish this by going to 'Control Panel|Default
Programs|Set your default programs', setting Windows Mail as the default and
making sure it has all its defaults. Note that, with Office Outlook
installed on this machine, any Office update applied through
Windows/Microsoft Update will probably reset the default email program from
Windows Mail back to Outlook; you'll have to keep an eye on this.

Not a lot to go on... Your email address suggests your ISP is Yahoo. If
you have a paid Yahoo Mail Plus account. you can use Windows Mail to access
your email:

POP Yahoo! Mail Plus with Microsoft Outlook Express

If you don't get your Internet through Yahoo, who do you get Internet
service from?

Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows
Mail. If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

If you can't afford to start your own thread, perhaps we can take
up a collection here...
