Send To A: prob

Hi
My send-to A:\ menu seems to be mucked up
When I select a file, r-click send to floppy, a message box opens
saying "insert disk" even though one is present
Then i get a 'Problem with Shortcut message box' saying
" the item that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved,
so this shortcut will no longer work properly"
Then it suggests the nearest match, do i want to fix or delete?

I've deleted and created a new shortcut to 'send to' menu several
times with the same result, can anyone supply a solution please?

I can 'drag and drop' and the floppy is recognised OK

I don't have powertoys, would it be useful?

I think so since the built-in list includes sending to a floppy. Also
move to\ copy to any folder. Sendto notepad, and several others.
Others can be added as desired - I put regsvr32 on the list. To add
the feature I used w95powertoys.exe, which works fine with XP. (A
downloadable fix is required to get sendto desktop to work.) Couldn't
say where I got powertoys, but it's widely available, approx. 200K.

Note: It should be opened in a folder of its own because the .exe file
produces some 30-40 files, of which sendto.inf is one.

Which version of Tweakui are U using
I was trying 1.33 and also the XP version
But i couldn't see how to set-up 'send-to' anywhere
Got fed up and rolled back
There must be some reason why 'send-to' has got mucked up, it was
working fine the week before last, perhaps i need to 'roll-back' until
i get it working again?

Hello again

I've been using Powerdesk as my preferred file manager for years
I opened Explorer and set-up my 'send-to' folder to include a
short-cut to A - and it's working fine - HIP HIP!!
Tried PD again but got the 'not found' error again ??
Will be using explorer in future, it seems to have received a re-vamp
with XP

As per my post, get w95powertoys.exe. It isn't at all the same thing
asTweakui.
