I am using Outlook 2002 because I have to, NOT because I want to. I find this program to be a very large piece of shit. Outlook Express is far superior, albiet less functional. OK, now that I have that off my chest, I have two questions: 1st: How do I get the program to execute a "receive" when I launch the program... as opposed to having to click the send/receive button to receive my e-mail? 2nd: Why, when I am in the address book and I add a contact, does the program add the contact to my "Contacts" folder but not to the address book? Someone please help me, before I loose my mind. Thank you!

1) Make sure you have your mail send/receive group to run scheduled
send/receive sessions every xx minutes.

2) The Contacts folder *is* the address book, assuming you have the Outlook
Address Book in your mail profile. What makes you think that newly added
contacts aren't in the address book?
