Send/Receive Stops working after upgrading to OL2003

We are running Exchange 2000, and after upgrading WinXP users from Office
2002 to Office 2003, the Outlook Send/Receive stops working. The 'All
Accounts' Send/Receive Group looks to be properly configured, but when I hit
the Send/Receive button or try to perform a Send/Receive on exit, the
progress window comes up momentarily and then disappears. When I try
viewing offline, there isn't anything.

To fix it, I disable the 'All Accounts' group and create a new Send/Receive
Group with the same settings. After doing this, the Send/Receive works
fine, and I am able to view everything offline.

After performing a Send/Receive that works, some machines allow me to revert
back to the original 'All Accounts' group and have it work properly, while
others will only work with the newly created group. We don't experience
this problem when upgrading a W2K machine from Office 2002 to 2003, only
with WinXP.

Anybody else having this problem?

Thanks,

Upgrades seem to have a problem with the mail profiles in various areas -
try creating a new mail profile.

I think that is the same problem I am having. The last
action I did before my receive email stopped working was
download a Windows upgrade. However, the download was on
a Wed., I was able to receive fine on Thur and Fri am, in
the afternoon, I started having problems.
I already checked w/ tech...not a network issue, must be
software.
OK, if I create a new mail profile, what will happen to
all the emails under that email address currently in the
various folders?
Thanks.

I just fixed my problem; I did a system restore to Tue,
and I can now receive emails; I think the Windows update
was the culprit.
