Dear wise Outlook friends,
Can somebody help me restore Outlook to its former glory? I installed
Windows SP2 on the 18th and ever since, I'm downloading my Hotmail messages
into Outlook very slowly. Not sure if SP2 install is related.
Maybe the MSN/Hotmail server has been bogged down lately?
Here are sample error messages:
(When I click on an unread message from Hotmail) -
"Can't open this item. You must connect to the server to complete this
action. To connect, select...[connect to server under 'file.]'"
(When I press "Connect to server") -
"This service is temporarily unavailable. The server responded as 'service
unavailable.'"
(Above the preview pane)
"This item cannot be displayed in the preview pane. The item is being
downloaded from the server."
Thank you kind sir/ma'am!
Dave
