Send/Receive report

How do I turn on the Send/Receive report. When I click on Send/Receive
button, I want the delivery report to show in a separate dialogue box, not in
the status bar. Any suggestions? I am using MS Outlook 2000
 
Assuming you mean the Send/Receive dialog box, it would be necessary for you
to post your version more accurately for us to answer. Outlook 2000 came in
2 completely different modes, Internet Mail Only and Corporate/Workgroup.
 
Well it's been a very long time, but as I recall you only need to double
click the animation in the lower R corner of the status bar during a mail
poll to bring up the dialog, then tick the box to always display it.
 
Sorry, but that doesn't seem to be the case, I have tried, and also on
another user's pc, just in case my one is "special" and it did not even
flinch, let alone do what I wanted it to do. Any other ideas?

No. That's the only one.
It works.
I just tried it.
Try again.
Make sure there is a mail poll in progress when you do it. If you have
nothing to download, you won't be able to open the dialog in time.
