Hi all -

Someone please help me.

I'm using Outlook XP (2002). When I open Outlook and stay idle for let's
say about
5-10 min, I get an error message when I click the send/receive button. The
error message
is as follows:

"The operation failed due to network or other communication problems. Check
your connections and try again.." I'm connect via a cable modem and router.
I can't see how it's a connection issue because I'm constantly connected and
if so I'd be getting blank webpages or can not display webpage errors, or
wouldn't be able to connect at all.

Does anyone know of a cure for this or point me in right direction? Thanks
in advance.

A reset of your cable modem/router could help as well here. If the
send/receive button fors the first 5 minutes than it is even more likely
that the modem/router is the problem.
