I have been using Outlook 2000 for a few years now and
recently switched to Office 2003. I like most of the new
features that are included but one thing is bothering me.
With office 2000 sending/receiving mail on our exchange
server was instantanious. With 2003 it seems to only do
it on a schedule(i have it set for 1 min)or by manually
hitting send/receive. Is there a setting I am missing? It
appears to be configured exactly the same as my 2000
client.

Thank you,

Ezra

This is because you have Cached Exchange mode enabled. Cached Exchange mode
will reduce network traffic and Exchange connections since it keeps a cache
and only polls the Exchange server on intervals. You can disable it in your
account settings for Exchange. I you do so you won't be able to use the
built-in spamfilter
