send parents attendance notification from SASI thru Outlook

We are a public school, using SASI software. We take electronic attendance
and would like to send parents an email message describing the students name
and the class from which they were absent (and when), or tardy (and when).

We would need to be able to access the SASI information containing the
parents' email and the students' attendance information.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

IF the SASI information can be exported to a comma-delimited file, you could perform a Word mail merge to generate individual email messages to the parents.
