hi,
i have users in my company who has mutliple email addresses in their "email
adresses" properties with one set as primary. everytime a user sends email,
the primary email address appears to the recipient for reply.
The question is, how i can change the "from" address to make it appear not
coming from the primary email address of the sender but from any other email
address in the "email addresses" list.

Thank you

Youssef

Hi there Youssef,

I am having the same issue and would appreciate any input from the community
on this.

I'm using Outlook 2000 SR-1 Corporate in Windows 2000. I have two e-mail
accounts set up under the same Outlook profile/inbox. When I send e-mail
through my second account (not the default), the "from" line includes my
default address "on behalf of" my second address. I don't want my default
address to appear. According to MS support site article #196996 on this
issue: "User A can send messages and meeting requests on behalf of user B by
entering the name of user B in the From Field. These messages contain the
names of both user A and user B."

Does anyone know a workaround way to NOT have both e-mail addresses appear
in the "From" field?

Thanks.

I believe this is a different issue. AFAIHU Youssef's users do not have
multiple accounts, they merely have multiple SMTP addresses associated
with their account. More of a job for

Hi Oliver,

I don't use Exchange as my server, my ISP is my server and I just connect
directly to the Internet with an Internet E-mail account through a LAN and
router in my home. So I don't seem to have access to the tabs you mentioned.

What do you think?

Thanks,
