Send email from Access via Lotus Notes

Quite some time ago, I got hold of some code to auto-
generate Lotus Notes emails from Access. It works, but
unfortunately, it must happen in real-time.

Does anyone know how to auto-generate emails into a Lotus
Notes outbox while offline?

For that matter, how does one specify from with Access
that Lotus Notes should go offline and then back online?

If Lotus can be opened by passing a command line
instruction that carries a username and password, then you
could use the shell command. Check Lotus application help
and with Lotus help people at IBM to see if that is
possible.
