Hi! I'm using Outlook 2003 with Windows XP Pro. I just had to
uninstall and reinstall it because of a problem and MS tech told me
to. I've got the email accounts back and the program up and running.
The problem is that it won't automatically send and receive mail like
it used to. It automatically collects my Hotmail email because I have
it configured to remember my password, I suppose. As I did the first
time that I set Outlook up, I have my other, main, email account set
to NOT remember the password. Before once I started the program I
would automatically get a box asking for my password after which it
would check my email. Now I have to hit send/receive each time that I
start Outlook up and THEN I get the box asking for my password after
which it checks my email just fine. I'm pretty sure that I've just
messed up somewhere or forgotten to do something. I'd surely
appreciate your help to learn how to get my Outlook back to
automatically showing the Password box and then collecting the email.
Thanks!!
