I store my work emails in folders assigning a folder for each customer
I work with.
When I send an email to a customer I wish to save a copy in the
customer's
folder for future reference. Is it possible to tell Outlook (2002) in
the BCC field
to post a copy to a specific folder?
If not, is there any other way this can be achieved?

Yes there is a way. In the options of the actual email, while you're
composing it, there is an option to "save sent message to" and you can click
a browse button to save the email in the folder of your choice.

Thank you for your reply.
This is a solution for my question but its not a desired one.
For one it is too cumbersome to do it and second, this means that the
message will not be saved in my sent items folder.

The best solution would be to put a folder as a "receipient" in the
BCC, this would
provide a fast method of filing.

You can always add rules that copy messages to other folders as they are
sent. A copy will remain in Sent Items as well in that case.
