Is there an option that can be set so that Outlook 'asks' you each time you
are about to send an email as to whether you want to retain a copy or not? I
know how to change the setting to 'save' a copy of all the emain that are
sent, but then you have to keep going back and deleting and purging the ones
you don't want to keep. I also know you can cc yourself and receive a copy
and then keep in a personal folder, but is there a setting that will
automatically prompt as to whether you do or don't want to keep a copy in a
'sent' folder upon sending (works this way in Lotus Notes 6.0.) Thanks, Darice

No prompt, but before you send the message, click View>Options and either
enable or disable saving a copy in Sent Items.
