can anyone help me please?
i am using XP. I go into bios to set it so it boots from the disc drive, but
I am unable to change the boot from location. the system tells me to use the
arrow keys but they will just not work in bios. they work fine when i use
them anywhere else. How can i change the boot from location/??

You must have a USB keyboard? I assume your BIOS is not supporting USB, you
need to get a keyboard that is not USB
and something your BIOS supports, I suggest you talk to a local pc repair
shop, they can help you better.

i am sorry but i forgot to add that its a laptop. i have tried using every
key on the board.. i am also un able to change the dat and time format but
the arrow keys work in other areas of bios

I again suggest you take it to a local pc repair shop, they can do a much
better job of finding hardware faults
