Select a large range

Dear experts,

Is there a shortcut to select a large range, such as A1:E11000 instead of
select A1:E1 and then hold down the "Shift" key and then the "Page Down" key?

Please advise.

One way

Type the range in the namebox*, viz.: A1:E11000
Then just press Enter to select the range

*box with the dropdown just to the left of the formula bar
