Seem to loose folders over a network?

A couple of times this has happened now, I've been viewing a folder(s) on
another machine, and not all the contents have displayed.

I can manually type into the address bar the location, for example I've got
a folder containing the letters A - Z as folders, and last night, A-E didn't
appear (even though they do exsist), so when I added "\A" to the bar at the
top it displayed?

I'm thinking it is a timing issue (is latency the word?) or something, the
pc is not responding quick enough to the other machine, so it forgets it?

Is there a setting in the registry I can change, or possible another option?

Regards.
Paul.

Paul,

Odd circumstances like this have been seen recently as a result of one Windows
Update. See if this article offers assistance.
