Have you googled "System.AddIn.Hosting" and "example"?

After a copy of this question on a web forum, there seem to be a good
number of links, the first batch pointing to blog entries which have
examples.

I don't understand what you are getting at. If you do a search on
google, there are a number of examples for you using the link (or keywords)
that I have supplied.
