I can see what the CEO of my company is typing when he is
in word or email on his PC. Whatever he is typing is
coming through on my PC. I have installed a personal
firewall on both of our machines and I am still able to
see what he types. It is like he is typing on my
machines, but does not have any other control of my PC.
What can be causing this?

I would suggest the user that had possession of that computer prior to you
had somehow installed a keylogger on the CEO's machine and forwarded the
"watch" to what is now your machine.

Alternatively, the "watch" was forwarded to a particular IP address that is
now the IP address of your machine. Perhaps changed due to DHCP or other
modification of IP addresses within the LAN.

Happy watching.

It would be very prudent of you, for your own protection, to go see the
CEO right now (especially since your posting gives what is presumably
the name of the company).

James;
Contact the CEO and your IT department immediately.
I would suggest against others who suggest "Happy watching"
Your job is the one at risk, not theirs if this is discovered at a
later time.
You may have a key logger or other malware on your computer, but it is
the computer you use and you may be held responsible when it is
discovered.
