Security Updates failure

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my security updates
executables. They start working, but in the middle of
checking my configuration, the update just bails in the
middle, no explanation, not even asking if I'd like to
send an error report.

Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happeing? I
sure don't.

Can you look at the %windir%\Windows update.log or the kBxxxxxx.log for the
security update.
