Security Update MS03-026 for wundows XP (823980)

I have installed this update 3 times now and updatr history shows it has
been installed 3 times successfully. However, when I scan for updates, it
shows up: (1) critical update to install. How can I clean this up so that
when I scan for updates, it will not show up?
 
Don, If you look at my post, posted a few minutes before
yours you'll see that I have a very similar problem.
Mine is 819696 but same thing. I you find and answer
please let me know and I will do the same for you.
