You should post your question to the experts in the windows update and or
office update newsgroups.
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.officeupdate

Here is a list of MS public newsgroups: http://www.aumha.org/nntp.php

I cannot join it, having a hard time.

I need an answer here please for anyone else who is
kind enough to assist.

I tried office repair, also gave errors (used detect and repair errors in
office installation... option)

Cannot join what? Unfortunately you did not quote the previous message so
we cannot see what you mean.

How is it that you do not see what I mean when you are the one who suggested
to post to the newsgroup via outlook? What method you using to actually read
these? I'm using a browser via the web to view this thread.

I don't use the web interface. It's lousy. I use a newsreader, and only
have displayed the current messages. I don't see the past messages in the
thread. It is standard protocol to quote at least a part of the message to
which you reply so others can see the thread. This really is Usenet
newsgroup, not a forum.

I answer many questions, so some messages threads I don't remember.

I would recommend using a newsreader to access these groups. The experience
is much better. XP comes with one, Outlook Express. Here is a link for how
to set up OE for newsgroups.

As to your question, hopefully someone else my join in who might be able to
help. I directed you to those sites as resources more directly related to
your issue. Someone may have dealt with this problem in one of those
groups.

Good luck.
