I have custom templates for security. That did work. Now they dont.

I am trying to troubleshoot but am having problems:

I verified reg key
redid the template
checked read permissions to the folder
no dice still prompting when my app goes to send, help!!!
TIA

I created a new template, published it under the same, kept the same settings
and used the same DL for access.

I am getting inconsistent results, I thought I saw a thread on offline
usage, some of my testers may be in cached mode....

This was working :(

Sue When I go to the PC and view the contents of the folder "Outlook Security
Template" I cant see all the contents. I can see some non-applied policies
but not the one I need. Can you explain the diference between posting items
using a template an publishing a template ?

Did you name the folder "Outlook Security Template" as your post below indicates? That is not a valid name for the folder. You must rename it to Outlook Security Settings.

The published form is a layout/code template that you use to create the actual data items. You should not modify the .oft template file that comes in the admin pack but should publish it -- just once, unmodified -- to the Outlook Security Settings folder and make it the default form that folder (on the folder's Properties dialog). Then click New to create a default security settings item in that folder as well as any security settings items that you might need for specific individuals or grouops.
