Hi Kevin
When I open Internet Explorer I get a pop-up box titled
Flash Player Debug Console and the message is a security
sandbox violation. Does anyone have any insight into
addressing this issue?
Thanks
You don't mention what version of Windows you have, so I'll take a stab at a
suggestion:
The sandbox is simply a place on your hard drive reserved for Flash to
operate. If you are having a violation, it is because something is
attempting to get outside of that reserved space; it could be rather benign
but it also could become a major security problem and future headache.
Try the following and see if it helps:
1. Re-install the latest version of Flash.
2. Go to the Tools/Internet Options/General>click the Delete Files button,
check the Delete all offline content box.
2. Delete Cookies
3. Click the Clear History buttons also(you may not want to do this if you
frequent sites where you might have to re-enter information.)
4. Find any folders on my hard drive labeled Temp and delete the contents in
them.
5. In IE go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and check "Disable script
debugging" and maker sure "Display a notification about every script
error" isn't checked
If still no joy -
One workaround is to install an earlier version of Macromedia Flash Player.
Otherwise, you may have to do without some videos, at least until legitimate
Web site operators wake up to the restrictions imposed by Flash Player 7."
If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
Hope this helps
Jan
