Security Policy Setting for Detecting CDs Left in Drive?

I would like to know if there is a policy or registry
setting I can enable, so that if a user leaves a CD in
their drive, and they try to shut down or log off, they
will be alerted with a pop up window. I believe XP Pro
already informs a user if they leave a floppy in the drive,
but I'm not aware of the same thing regarding CDs. I need
to enable this sort of thing for networked and stand alone
PCs, to comply with security requirements that no removable
media is being left in a drive. Come to think of it, I
would need the same thing, too, for thumb drives left in a
USB port. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chuck

Thanks, but that's bit more control than I'm looking for. I
just want a setting that will produce an "Idiot Message",
telling a user that media is still left in a drive (or USB
port, if a thumb drive) when trying to shut down the system.

Thanks,

Chuck

you may want to check out SecureNT from
www.securewave.com. SecureNT allows
you to set policies for who can access what media.
