I switched domains and looks like the systems still have the secpolicy of the old domain.

How do i force the new domains policy to the systems?

I want to totally overwrite the old security policy in the systems.

It depends on the version of the OS you are using. However, if you have something like the "Default domain policy" in your active directory services domain, all computer systems should receive the new policy immediately after a restart

To force a system to refresh it's policy, use the following
On Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
"Gpupdate /target:computer|user /force

On Windows 2000
"secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy
(check the help for secedit for other options

Hope this helps

Sincerely

The new domain policy should automatically apply to the client system. What
operating system are the clients?

Why do you believe the policy has not applied?

Thank you!
