Security Patch @832894 for Internet Explorer.

I work as an internet tech and have found that once the
Security Patch Q832894 for Internet Explorer 6 has been
downloaded, customers are unable to navigate or get their
email. The only way to be able to navigate or get email
is to go to add/remove programs and delete that patch and
restart the computer. Any ideas what is causing the
problem?
 
Did you check to make sure that the passwords are still in the account ?
This patch does have some problems with deleting passwords.
As far as not navigating, that is a new one on me. You mean they cannot
browse different URL's ?
