Security/Critical Updates Fail

All my Critical Updates fail to install. Can anyone help me get it back on
track? I'm running XP Pro.
Dell Inspiron 4100.

Hi Netboy

Do the updates download and then fail to install? If so have a look in the Windows Update.log file - which can be found in the Windows folder - for any error numbers and then see if they are referenced here:

Also try downloading/installing them one at a time rather than in a bunch,
solved my problems on a couple of xp pcs earlier this year.

I'll try them one at a time. Everytime I've tried to install the group it
would go almost to the end then fail.
