security centre alert problem

Dear friend,

I am not receiving any security from tray icon when I turned off win
firewall or anti virus software please help me.

XP does not have any built-in antivirus protection. It does have a
firewall. You haven't given us enough information to help you.

It can be very hard for a non-technical person to know what to include
