secure digital card problem

I cannot access the secure digital card when I insert it into the slot on my
Dell Inspiron. The computer is running Windows XP Media Center Edition (SP
2). (I've chatted with Dell support which has not helped. They suggested
downloading a driver from their website which did not work; in any event, the
description of the driver they recommended said it was needed only for SP1.)
I'm wondering if I'm lacking a driver or if there is some other problem. Many
thanks for any suggestions.

Are you sure it is enabled in the hardware manager? Mine shows up in there.
I have a 9300

Thanks for the suggestion. It does show up in hardware manager, but it won't
run. I get this error: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

I've run all the troubleshooting wizards but it still doesn't work.
