I believe there is a feature in XP called "Secondary Desktop" wherein
important but rarely used Desktop icons are stored. A "Secondary Desktop"
icon appears on the regular Desktop and can be clicked when needed to gain
access to the other icons. The purpose I suppose was to make the Desktop
screen look simple, clean and orderly. I have it in my computer but i forgot
the steps to take to make changes. Can anyone jar my memory how to do it?

You got answers and requests for clarification on this issue in your
first post. Please find it and keep subsequent posts in that original
thread. If you can't find it, use Google Groups Advanced Search and
constrain the search to microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, use your
name and a date range. "donotspam" is a pretty commonly used alias, so
looking within recent time is a good idea.

Not to my knowledge to/within XP default as answered before. The only
secondary "folder" (not desktop) that comes into play is unused shortcuts.
Good luck!
