Hello,

If I have opted out the first time I am prompted to have
a password remembered by autocomplete, is there a way to
ask it to prompt me again? Thanks.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options. Click the Content Tab,
and hit the AutoComplete button. Re-check the "Prompt me to save passwords"
checkbox, and hit OK.

Thanks for the response. The box was never unchecked, I just said no when prompted about remembering the password on a particular site, and I want to know how to get it to ask me again, so I can say yes. Thanks.

Thanks for the patch. Lots of interseting stuff on your site. Unfortunately, the patch did not work. A pop up prompt confirmed that "internet explorer will now prompt for passwords" but it's not happening on my site. Perhaps the patch just changes the checkbox settings. What I need is to somehow remove this website from a list or registry that has it filed as one that I have declined to remember the password on. Thanks.

Most welcome, thank you and good luck!

More info:

You can view the values stored for each input field name, delete incorrect
ones, and pre-load the system with additional values.

you can delete the bad registry file in Protective Storage System and it clears out auto-complete and outlook passwords so it will then prompt you to save all new info when you visit the sites again. ask for help with Protective Storage System and they'll give step by step instructions how to delete that file and it resets a new one.
