I've got a program that is not compatable with windows XP but it is compatable with Windows ME. I've got copies of both windows XP and ME. I've partitioned the hard drive and loaded XP onto the first partition. What I'd like to do now is to load ME onto the second partition and run the program with ME but I don't know how to do it. I'd like some instructions on how to do it.

Windows 9.x (which ME is), must be on the first partition (c:), and the disk
format must be FAT. It is not recommended that you have both Win ME and XP
on the same partition (but not impossible), as they will be sharing the
Program Files Folder etc. It is also easier to install ME first, then XP as
XP is what handles the OS selection, and you have to repair the XP
installation to fix the boot process if not installed first.
Try a Google search for specific instructions if you need them.
