The second identity I've set up for my daughter has been
changed or compromised. How do I reset/change it?

If you are talking about Identities you must be referring to Outlook
Express? Outlook uses Profiles. This is the OUTLOOK help site not Outlook
Express. You should include what version number and what program
specifically you are having the trouble with and what operating system you
are using.

You will need to create a new identity and import the old mail into the new
identity. Import the address book and manually add the mail accounts. Once
done you can remove the old identity registry key and that old mail folder
with that big long identity number from the hard drive.

In the registry START-RUN type REGEDIT and click OK.

Click on the + next to HKEY-Current User and then the + next to Identities.

Note the big long number that correlates to the identity you have lost the
password for. When you highlight the big long number you and will see the
username in the right pane, this is also the identity name.

You will then have to create a new identity and import the old identity mail
into the new one. You will need to manually add and mail accounts your had
in the old identity into the new one since you cannot access the old
identity to export the mail accounts. You will want to make sure the
address book is present in the new identity and if not you can import the
WAB (Windows Address Book) into the newly created identity.
