second generation links

I have just installed WinXP on a Win98 computer - Everything is working ok
Except When I click on links that launch another IE that second IE will be
blank. I have discussed this with my Server newsgroups with no success. Any
Ideas?

Have you tried this fix?

* Close Internet Explorer
* Click Start > Run, type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, click OK

If it doesn't repair it, read this link and continue with the 'resolution'
instructions.
