Going to paste what I sent to comcast and nortons.
Please help!!!!

I have done all the scans as she has and we come up clean. Please
investigate this and tell us what we can do to stop these email viruses.

the attachments are what she cut/pasted from the message source, headers,
etc.

The following is the IP address she found This is not MY IP

THE IP: 4.34.163.30
BELOW IS THE TRACER.....
chcgil2-ar7-4-34-163-030.chcgil2.dsl-verizon.net

Bottom line, she is getting emails with the virus that I am not sending.

If friends are receiving virus infected e-mail that is allegedly from you,
then it's likely that someone has harvested your e-mail address from a
vulnerable PC, and is using that address to send in your name.

Not much you can do about it, except to warn friends not to open
attachments apparently from you, unless they are expected.

If this isn't the forum to post this, please direct me to the right one

There is a virus out there that picks an address from the address book, puts it
in the from to line on the email and then emaills itself.
Judging by what you said someone with your address in their address book has
this virus.
Phone your friends and have them run their virus scanner.Advise them to use a
firewall that blocks all outgoing without permission like ZoneAlarm.
You should also use a way of altering your email address in newsgroups instead
of (e-mail address removed) maybe use (e-mail address removed) people will know what
to delete and a mail harvester would find this address useless.
Setup your virus scanner to scan all incoming email before you open them.
And ,of course, change your email address
good luck
