Hi All
I have a query regarding searching across worksheets and
workbooks.
In our spreadsheets, we have one workbook for each
financial year (October-September). Within each workbook,
we have a worksheet for each month of the year. We would
like to be able to search across worksheets within one
workbook as well as across workbooks
Examples of the types of searches that we would like to
carry out are as follows:
1. What Books has Customer A bought in the last 3 years?
At present, if a customer orders two books at the same
time these are entered on two separate lines. We add the
customers details on one line only and the rest of the
book details are added for each of the two books.
2. What other books have we sold on whiplash injuries
during the past year?
I've tried, Help, Knowledge base and even Technet but
don't seem to be able to find anything relevant to
searching across workbooks and worksheets. I don't want
to move this to an Access database as the people who need
to get the statistics are low level IT users but perhaps
this is the only way?
Thanks for your help
