I want to search my in-box for a specific IP address; this can be done
manually, one email at a time; however, this is too time consuming with a
large number of emails; the Find command did not respond to an IP address.

Depending on your version of Outlook you could create a Wizard rule that
checks the message header for the IP address and than flags it or move it to
a certain folder. Then execute the rule manually.

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

In the email change your View>Encoding setting.
