I don't know what has changed on my computer but all of a sudden whenever I
do a search the system crawls.

I am running Windows 2000 Pro. and IE 6.0. I am on a high speed ADSL
connection, I can cruise the internet no problem, going from page to page
and using my favorites.

No matter what type of search I do the search results take from 3-5 minutes
to be displayed. I have tried clicking the toolbar search, which opens the
msn search in the right hand column, I have tried going to the website
www.google.com and www.yahoo.com and www.infoseek.com and all different
scenarios have the same result.

Have I somehow corrupted a service? or something.

I got spybot S&D and cleared everything that it suggested, as well I
downloaded all of the patches and fixes from Microsoft.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for this problem.

Thanks so much...
