Using Outlook 2003...

I have created a custom contacts form in Outlook 2003. I have saved
contacts using my form. With in the form we have things like alternate
contacts (which have more names to it), and various other info in it.

The question is: Can we search outside the form in Outlook's search area to
find a person with in the form that not who the form is saved as? In other
words --> can we search for people in the form that the form is not saved as?

Hope some one can help us! thanks!

Hi Steve. I'm having difficulty understanding your explanation of the issue.
Do you want to do a search within Outlook to look for data within any of
your custom fields?

Yes, exactly!

Sorry for the confussion; not so good with generating questions like these!

thanks

can it be set to search all the fields or do we have to add each one to
search in? thanks a million! you guys are great help!

There is no "all fields" or "all custom fields" setting. You'd have to search each one. Outlook 2007's instant search, OTOH, is supposed to search all custom text fields in addition to standard fields.
