The managment want to know how stores what on they Local HD. This
there any software that will scan the shares (including the C$, D$ etc)
on the workstations.

I am looking for different file types, so filtering would be a bonus.

I know i could mapped the root shares (C$, D$ etc) and search them, but
i have over 100 PCs and this would take some time.

If i had that software that does, i could leave it running over night
and have the result in morning os i don't slow the network down during
normal working hours

Thanks advance

You can write a batch file that access all the computers on your network.
You can visit the website sysinternals and see if they have a tool for you.
