Search Toolbar in 6.0

Does anyone know how to turn off the new Search Toolbar?
I've unchecked it several times but each time I open IE
the search bar is back. I can uncheck any of the other
things like "address bar" and "links" and they stay gone
until I recheck them, but that stupid "search bar" will
not stay off. Any Ideas?
