Search Tool caught in a loop

Whenever I use my Windows Search Tool, it gets hung in a loop when searching
through zipped files. I have to power down to stop it. What is causing this?

Can't give you a specific answer to your question however I am now using
"Google Desktop" for my searches and is 100 times faster at finding things
on your computer. You can download this utility free from the main google
page.

Thank you, Jim. I'll give that a try as it is so frustrating not to be able
to find files when needed.
